Pi Theta Epsilon: Occupational Therapy

Mission Statement
Pi Theta Epsilon is the National Student Honor Society of the American Occupational Therapy Association. Creighton University's Alpha Iota Chapter encourages its membership to excel in academic and professional occupational therapy activities. The Alpha Iota Chapter encourages students to assume leadership roles in the profession at the university, state and national levels. The Alpha Iota Chapter supports the holistic development of the students by providing a vehicle for participation in activities which promotes the awareness of the significant role that values play in one's life, respect for the uniqueness of each individual, an appreciation for ethnic and cultural diversity, a desire to attain critical and creative thinking skills, and opportunities for networking with other students in occupational therapy programs across the US through participation in scholarly activities and events.
