The purpose and general goal of this club is to build each member's mental and physical discipline. The first of these goals, mental discipline, will consist of expanding each member's understanding and appreciation of the philosophy and purpose of martial arts. The second of these goals, physical discipline, will consist of training the body to perform Tae-Kwon-Do and when needed, to utilize this training for self-defense. This will be accomplished by increasing physical strength, endurance, flexibility, and speed. By training through the martial arts, this club directs students to the intellectual, spiritual, physical and recreational aspect of college life.
