Order of Omega

The Order of Omega is a National fraternity and sorority leadership honor society. Each collegiate chapter is permitted to offer membership to a maximum of 3% of the campus fraternity and sorority population each semester. The purpose of the Order of Omega is:

To Recognize fraternity men and women who have attained a high standard of leadership in fraternity and sorority life activities, to Encourage them to continue along this line, and to Inspire other to strive conspicuous attainment;

To Unite outstanding fraternity men and women to create an organization which will help mold the sentiment of the institution on questions of local and intercollegiate fraternity affairs;

To Bring Together members of the faculty, alumni, and student members of the institution's fraternities and sororities on a basis of mutual interest, understanding and helpfulness;

To help Create an atmosphere where ideas and issues can be discussed openly across Greek lines and to help work out solutions.

Order of Omega is the organizing body of activities that promote leadership within the Fraternity and Sorority Life community including: the Fraternity and Sorority Life Leadership retreat, New Member Retreat (Formerly BANG), and Fraternity and Sorority Life Awards.
