The Student Leadership & Involvement Center staff moderates the Student News email. Twice a week on Monday and Thursday, an email is sent out posting the events that have been submitted as an event on CU Involved. This email will include a list of all upcoming events within the following two weeks, as well as the organization logo or event poster and description of the event. The email will also include upcoming opportunities for students to get involved, as well as service opportunities!  All submissions will be left in the Student News email until the date passes for that event.  Guidelines for submissions are as follows:

Submissions must be received by Friday by 9 a.m. to be included in the Monday edition. Submissions must be received by Wednesday at 9:00am to be included in the Thursday edition.

You must submit your event on CU Involved. Follow this link for instructions on how to submit your events to CU Involved.

Make sure to check the box saying you would like your event in Student News!

If you are interested in submitting an involvement opportunity, please send an email to with "Student News Submission" as the subject. Make sure to include a logo or poster that you would like to go along with your submission.
