Originally developed by students and staff in Kenefick Residence Hall, Creighton's Getting Blue BBQs are our way to socialize, eat, and get our BLUE on!

Getting Blues 2012-13

• Friday, September 14 (4:30 – 7:00 pm) – Volleyball 6:00 pm and Men’s Soccer 7:00 pm – Co-Sponsored by CSU
• Saturday, September 22 (4:30 – 7:00 pm) – Volleyball 5:00 pm and Men’s Soccer 7:00 pm – Co-Sponsored by IRHG

“Getting Blue” is a tradition of community and food in an effort to create a “Blue Out” for home games.

All fall Getting Blue events will be held on the lawn on the northwest side of Morrison Stadium, just south of the Wayne and Eileen Ryan Athletic Center (rain location: Brandeis dining hall). Students, parents, faculty, staff, alumni, friends and fans are all invited to attend. Cost is $8 for adults and $4 for kids (ages 10 and under). For students, meal plans, dining dollars, and JayBucks are all accepted. The event also includes a beer garden with beer available for purchase for those of age and with proper identification.

The first “Getting Blue” event of the year is scheduled for Friday, August 24 from 4:30–7:00 p.m., in conjunction with the women’s soccer match against Utah State (5:00 p.m., kick-off, Morrison Stadium) and men’s soccer match against Northern Illinois (7:30 p.m., kick-off, Morrison Stadium).
