Greek Community Overview

Greek Life at Creighton University exists to provide students quality involvement opportunities which contribute to their educational, personal, and social development. Friendship, leadership, scholarship, service, and faith are the greatest assets to the Greek system.

Fraternities

The Greek system at Creighton University is centered on creating well-rounded individuals. Greek students are involved in all aspects of campus including: philanthropy, leadership, scholarship, and social. Creighton University does not recognize or register any Greek houses; however certain chapters have houses in which many Greeks live. The lack of houses does not deter from an effective Greek system with strong ties of friendship and brotherhood.

Creighton's five fraternities participate in many philanthropic events including: Run with a Heart, Night at Lou's, 3-on-3 Hoops for Hope, G.I.V. Month, roadside clean-up, and many more. All fraternities stress the importance of academics with activities including: tutoring, test files, and study halls. Other social events include date parties, Greek Week, formals, retreats, semi-formals, recruitment, service trips, and many more.
