Photography

Our team can provide photography resources for strategic event support, project support or campus images. UCOM Photography resources are limited. Some requests may be referred to outside vendors or self service solutions. To begin a project, simply complete a project brief. If all you need is photography, submit a photography request.

Services we can provide:

  • Headshots of individuals: Come to our studio in the Wareham building at 17th and Mike Fahey Drive (east of the soccer field) Monday through  Friday 8am to 4:30.
  • Group portraits
  • Candid and dramatic portraits
  • Events, on and off campus
  • Campus images

We work behind-the-scenes to:

  • Edit and retouch images
  • Digitize photos and slides

Creighton’s Photographic Style

Photography should showcase the campus community—students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends. Regardless of its subject matter, photographs should follow one of two distinct styles:

Candid
Shots should feel natural and in the moment—to show authenticity. People in real situations, photographed at natural angles, with ambient light. These images should reflect the energy of the Creighton experience while demonstrating the connections that each person has with each other. The majority of our photography should be candid.

Portraiture
When visual impact is needed, we employ dramatically posed images, with people deliberately positioned in their natural Creighton environment. Subjects should look like they are working but have paused to look into the camera. This creates a bold and powerful portrait.
