Arrival Instructions for International Travelers
Creighton University is requiring students, faculty and staff returning to campus from international locations to obtain COVID-19 PCR nasal swab testing one to three days before their flight, and not to travel if testing positive or experiencing symptoms. Test results should be sent to CovidResults [at] creighton [dot] edu prior to returning to campus.
International travelers also must complete on-campus COVID-19 PCR nasal swab testing upon their arrival at Creighton.
As you return to campus for the spring semester, it is imperative that you exercise responsible behavior to limit the potential spread of the COVID-19 virus. Please limit your movement around campus and within the Omaha community. Continue to complete daily screenings, wear your face covering, maintain social distancing and practice good hand hygiene.
Remember that you agreed to the Creighton COVID-19 Community Standards. These standards are designed based on current public health guidance, to maximize the opportunity for each and every member of our community to stay healthy and safe while providing an in-person learning experience.
Travelers returning to other states and are advised to review and follow guidelines established by State Health Departments.
University-sponsored travel has been canceled until further notice.
Creighton strongly recommends that all travelers (faculty, staff or students) refrain from making travel arrangements until the University has officially announced the resumption of Creighton-sponsored travel programs.
