Guidance for Patients

Dental Clinic Patients

Effective March 23, Creighton University School of Dentistry will cease normal clinical operations until further notice, in alignment with the American Dental Association and the Nebraska Dental Association recommendations, except for acute care appointments. Acute care operation hours will be Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to noon. We are not accepting new patients. All patients with upcoming appointments will be contacted. If you have questions, call 402.280.5990. If you have pain or swelling or need an emergency tooth extraction, you can utilize our after-hours, walk-in extraction clinic on Tuesdays and Fridays from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m.

Therapy and Wellness Patients

Effective immediately we are changing the clinic admission procedure for patients and enhancing the infection control procedures for care providers in accordance with recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). If a patient presents with a cough or fever, they will be given a mask, have their temperature taken and asked to reschedule their appointment once they receive a physician’s note indicating they can return to therapy.

Creighton University Campus Pharmacy

Effective immediately, the Creighton University Campus Pharmacy hours of operation will remain the same — 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. — but campus deliveries will cease at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 19. If you are not feeling well please do not enter the Campus Pharmacy. Call us at 402.449.4560, so we can accommodate you. We can meet you at our north entrance to hand deliver your prescriptions to you. We are committed to care for our patients, students, staff, faculty and the community. Given the status of the COVID-19 pandemic in our area, we have adopted these preventive measures to protect our students, staff, faculty, and patients. Thank you for your cooperation.
