Cleaning and Sanitizing

Cleaning and Sanitizing

Creighton custodians will use high-tech fogging machines and manual cleaning processes to daily clean and sanitize public spaces and common areas across campus during periods of use – from large lecture halls to small, high-touch surfaces, such as door handles.

The University will also place additional hand sanitizer stations across campus and in all classrooms and labs. Other cleaning and sanitizing products will also be made available in classrooms and labs, and students and faculty are encouraged to sanitize their spaces before and after use.

A complete COVID-19 cleaning matrix can be found in the Caring for Our Creighton Community reopening guide.

Creighton also encourages students, faculty, staff and visitors to practice good hand hygiene as part of the University’s Community Standards. Watch Carrie Hoarty, MD, medical director of Student Health Education and Compliance, demonstrate the proper hand-washing technique.

Employee Ordering of COVID-19 Supplies and PPE

Employee requests for COVID-19 supplies and personal protective equipment (PPE) must be made through school, college and department “facilitators.” Please order well in advance if possible. Questions? Contact your facilitator.
