Martin Luther King, Jr. Student Leadership Award 2017 Nomination Survey

This award is given to individuals who have demonstrated Dr. King's legacy in the areas of social justice and civil rights advocacy. Honorees have exhibited distinguished civic, cultural or volunteer service and demonstrated a commitment to education and community ideals espoused by Creighton University's mission statement.

Please submit a nomination for a student no later than: Monday, November 7, 2016 at 4:30pm.

John P. Schlegel, SJ Diversity Awards

The John P. Schlegel, SJ Diversity Awards recognize and celebrate innovative and/or effective initiatives to support and advance diversity on the Creighton campus. There are three award categories:

  1. Academic/Administrative Department
  2. Individual
  3. Diversity related scholarship/research

Please use this form to submit a nomination for one of the above categories no later than Wednesday, Nov. 15 at 4:30 p.m.

The award recipients will be selected based on the following criteria:

  1. Nominees must demonstrate outcomes or results that promote positive diversity or inclusion initiatives/actions for the University and its mission.
  2. Involvements in local community diversity-related partnerships that support Creighton are strongly valued.
  3. Diversity initiatives that support a broad campus population (students, patients, parents, faculty and staff) are highly valued.
  4. Overall positive impact to the University’s diversity and inclusion efforts.

Award recipients will be recognized at the Awards Ceremony on Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2018 during MLK Week at Creighton University
