Andrew Eckart, BS, NRP

Lab & Simulation Coordinator, EMS Education

Andrew is Creighton University’s Emergency Medical Services Education Lab & Simulation Coordinator. He has over eight years of experience in EMS, joining Creighton University’s team in 2021. He has practiced as a field paramedic, non-invasive cardiology technician, urgent care technician, and as a CNA. Other professional activities include instructing BLS and ACLS courses through the American Heart Association and serving as his local fire department’s rescue captain. Andrew began his career in higher education in 2017, after becoming a field preceptor for EMT and paramedic students and earning his EMS-I. He served as faculty paramedic instructor and clinical coordinator for two years before moving into the role of Program Director, and prior to accepting a position with Creighton University. Educational accomplishments include a Bachelor of Science in Leadership and an Associate of Applied Science in Professional Health Studies.
