Gladyce Janky, MA
Gladyce came to Creighton in 2015 as a chaplain in the School of Pharmacy and Health Professions (SPAHP). Today, she serves Graduate students in the College of Professional and Continuing Education.
Before joining Creighton, she worked as a chaplain in a trauma hospital and a hospice. She also completed a one-year residency in Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) residency, a training program for chaplains working in healthcare settings.
Her professional training includes completing a MA in ministry through Creighton's Christian Spirituality Program (CSP) and certificates in Ignatian Spiritual Direction and Directed Retreats and the History of the Ignatian Tradition.
She relocated to the Phoenix area in 2021 to be closer to family and to take advantage of the sunshine and warm weather. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring the beauty of the Southwest, reading, experimenting in the kitchen, and spending time with her son and daughter-in-law.
