Professor

Father Tom Simonds is a Catholic priest and a member of the Society of Jesus. He is currently Timms Professor of Humanities at Creighton University in Omaha, NE and oversees the undergraduate core curriculum. He has held a number of leadership positions in Catholic secondary schools including principal and school trustee. Father Tom is the author of 18 articles on Catholic educational issues. He has authored two books: School Violence Prevention Workbook, and Advent and Christmas Reflections for Teachers; and has co-authored one book: Your School’s Catholic Identity: Name It, Claim It, and Build on It. All these books are available from the National Catholic Educational Association.
