Welcome to the John P. Fahey Career Center at Creighton University!
Our career center is prepared to assist students and alumni with academic advising issues, career planning questions as well as job search, interviewing, resume assistance and help with graduate and professional school preparation. In short, we are here to help you "make connections" for the next step in your professional life.
As you explore this website, you will find that we have partnerships with many career planning and job search sites to help you in your career planning efforts. FOCUS, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, Strong Interest Inventory, and Campbell Interest and Skills Survey are available for helping you to hone in on your interests and options; Jobs4Jays, Vault's Career Insider, Going Global, and ReferenceUSA are available through the career center site to help in the job and internship search.
During the last academic year, our center listed more than 28,000 jobs and internships -- that is more than seven jobs for each and every undergraduate at Creighton University! You should plan to visit our site often -- not just to access jobs and internships, but to access the myriad of other features and linked sites that are there to help you in your career development needs.
Whether you are an incoming freshman student just wanting to explore options, a sophomore student discerning his or her major, a junior looking for internships or an upcoming graduate looking for that first professional position, we've got a variety of services for you. And, we want to see you in person, too! While we are proud of our website, there is nothing like a face-to-face meeting with a career counselor to help with career decision-making or the job search process. Please call to make an appointment or take advantage of our walk-in hours every afternoon from Monday - Thursday while classes are in session. So, let us know how we can help you!
