Much of the information regarding the internship and job search is consistent no matter what the background of a candidate, however, as an international student, there are a few more stipulations and opportunities for you to be aware of as you enter your search.

Employment Requirements and Visas

The types of opportunities you have for internship and job options depends, in large part, to the visa and additional training options that you currently hold and are qualified for. In many cases the qualifications are based on the degree or field that an individual is pursuing. Knowing your options and being able to articulate those options to a prospective employer can make a big difference.
