The undergraduate program in secondary school teaching enables you to obtain a teaching certificate to teach in public, Catholic, or other private schools.

Creighton undergraduates are able to prepare to teach in grades 7-12 by adding the secondary co-major to their major. Students may choose to major in art, biology, chemistry, English, French, history, math, theology, or Spanish.

If you already have a bachelorís degree and would like information on our MEd in secondary school teaching, see our list of graduate programs. By completing the MEd in secondary school teaching, you will earn both a masterís degree and an initial teaching certificate.
