In addition to ongoing counseling appointments, the Counseling Center is available for immediate crisis intervention for Creighton students who are experiencing a psychological emergency Monday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.  We are also open from 8:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Our office is located in the Harper Center in  the Center for Health and Counseling room 1034. For more information or for immediate assistance, come to the Counseling Center or call 402-280-2735.


Students on campus who need emergency mental health care when the Center for Health & Counseling is closed should call Public Safety at (402) 280-2911 or contact their Resident Director / Resident Assistant - these parties can then contact the Creighton Counselor-On-Duty if further action is needed.   

Students off-campus who need emergency mental health care can also call the local police at 911 or a suicide hotline listed below.
