CIPER: Interprofessional Conversations – Provider Fatigue, Wellness

Health care provider fatigue has become an important area of concern in recent years. But new data shows that interconnectedness, especially among the providers themselves, can be an effective antidote. This conference will engage participants in new information and effective strategies that promote a culture of teamwork and improved professional satisfaction.
Schedule:
- 11:15 a.m.–12 p.m.: Lunch
- 12–4:30 p.m.: Conference
- 4:30–5:30 p.m.: Social / Networking
Conference:
- Discuss root causes of provider fatigue, including structural and personal factors
- Explore organizational and individual changes for addressing provider fatigue
- Engage in personal reflection on consequences of provider fatigue toward overall satisfaction and productivity
- Discuss how personal leadership style affects team collaboration
- Generate a tool set of personal and institutional resources to address provider fatigue
Conference events open to all Creighton and CHI Health Professionals, including students, residents, fellows, staff, faculty, and administration. FREE CE Credit available, upon completion of evaluation.
