You have the data, but how do you transform your raw data into informative, rich, and useful data visualizations? This hour-long workshop will take you through the basics of creating meaningful data display in Tableau Public to effectively communicate the importance of your research. This workshop is designed to help advance your knowledge of the data visualization tool Tableau Public. This workshop will also introduce you to newer, open-source data visualization tools.
Learning Outcomes:
- learn design best practices to effectively convey the importance of your research
- know how to choose the right type of visualization to illustrate specific data points
- learn how to create both static and interactive data visualizations for optimal impact
