Clinical decision making is a vital aspect of medical education and patient care. However, it lacks a clear conceptual definition and there is no universally accepted framework for the teaching, development, nor assessment of skills and competencies.
This session will highlight student and faculty perceptions of clinical decisions as well as current efforts to introduce clinical decision making in the pre-clerkship curriculum. We will also explore additional curriculum improvements aimed at promoting high clinical decision
making skill development.
This session is open to all Creighton health sciences professionals.
