Mike and Josie Harper Center
Creighton University hosts its annual University Research Week celebration on Tuesday, April 19, and Wednesday, April 20 in the Harper Center from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Undergraduate, graduate and professional students will present their research in either an oral presentation or a poster presentation. All presentations will be judged and Best Presentation Awards will be given.

To celebrate University Research Week, students and faculty will create visual abstracts of their research in a casual and celebratory environment using poster paper, markers and chalk.

Research Award Luncheon - Harper 2057/2058
All members of the Creighton community are invited to this luncheon and presentation of university research awards:
- Health Sciences University Research Award to Shashank M. Dravid, PhD – Professor of Pharmacology and Neuroscience
- Non-Health Sciences University Research Award to R. Collin Mangrum, JD, SJD – Professor of Law; Endowed Chair, AA and Ethel Yossem Endowed Chair in Legal Ethics
In addition, the research mentor awards will be presented to:
- Dr. & Mrs. Randolph Ferlic Undergraduate Research Mentor Award to Bruce M. Mattson, PhD – Professor of Chemistry & Biochemistry
- Dr. Robert Heaney Graduate Research Mentor Award to Terry Grindstaff, PT, PhD – Associate Professor of Physical Therapy
