Biography
Having grown up in the Midwest, Carolyn has traveled the world in her
distinguished career as a marketing professor. After serving on the faculty
of the University of Waikato (New Zealand) for approximately 20 years,
Carolyn opted for an early retirement in order to pursue academic
freelance work. She earned her Ph.D. from the University of North
Carolina, an MBA from the University of Arkansas, and a B.F.A. from the
University of Kansas. Carolyn’s research interests lie in the areas of
consumer perceptions and responsible marketing, and her work has
appeared in the leading journals of the field, including the Journal of Marketing and Journal of Consumer Research.
