- Primary interest is in the area of Auditing. Specific areas of interest include: auditor motivation, audit documentation, and workplace stress.

- “Improving the Quality of Auditors’ Motivation: Insights from Self-Determination Theory”. Dissertation.
“Can Documentation of Contradictory Evidence Help Auditors Overcome the Tendency to Accept Clients’ Preferred Aggressive Accounting Choices?” with Brian Mayhew and Tyler Thomas. Awarded a research grant from the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation (WARF)
