Biography
Chelsea Hamzhie joined the Creighton University College of Nursing in 2019. Chelsea started her nursing career in pediatrics working in inpatient oncology, endocrinology, and medical-surgical areas. She recived her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Creighton Univeristy in May of 2019 with a Family Nurse Practitioner focus. In addition to being a full time faculty member, Chelsea is also a practicing nurse practitioner. She has a passion for pediatrics and underserved populations. Her research interests include food insecurity and chronic disease managment, health disparities, and trauma informed patient care.
