Biography
I obtained my Practical Nursing Certificate and License in 2009, and began working as an Acute Rehab nurse. While working in acute rehab I completed my associate's degree in nursing and obtained my Registered Nurse license in 2011. I continued working on the acute rehab unit for one year as an RN. I moved to the Omaha area in May 2012, where I began working on an inpatient medical surgical- telemetry unit. In December of 2012, I began working in the Emergency Department, as an ER/Trauma nurse and I remained working in the ER until 2018. I also have clinical experience in pediatrics and case management. I have worked as a full-time nursing faculty member since 2016. I joined Creighton University College of Nursing as the simulation lab coordinator and instructor in June of 2020.
