Biography

Angela Lampe, OTD, OTR/L is Assistant Professor of Occupational Therapy at Creighton University. In additional to her faculty role, Dr. Lampe is Director of Occupational Therapy Distance Education for the School of Pharmacy and Health Professions and is completing an Academic Administrative Fellowship in the Teaching and Learning Center. She has over 20 years of administrative experience in acute and post-acute rehabilitation practice including 5 acute care hospitals, 16 ambulatory clinics, inpatient rehabilitation, and skilled nursing/long-term care settings.  Highlights from Dr. Lampe’s administration responsibilities include working collaborately with nursing and physician leaders and leading an interprofessional therapy team of nearly 125 therapists to direct inpatient rehabilitation accreditation and compliance processes, lead quality improvement projects, plan strategically, and develop programs including assisting with the plan and design of a 40 bed, $24 million-dollar, inpatient rehabilitation unit. Dr. Lampe has served in an academic role since 2014. She shares her expertise and research interest in leadership, health care accreditation and compliance, management and administration, program development, and quality with students in the occupational therapy entry-level and post-professional programs.
