Grant Funding Received

  • Recipient of Sarah M. Aicher Fund grant for the Our Town Now project focused on using theatre for social justice in developing and presenting a play about immigration issues and their effect on rural Nebraska.
  • Recipient of funding for a Creighton Global Initiative project: Our Town Now: a Theatre for Social Justice Project. The project focused on developing an original dramatic work highlighting the effects of immigration issues on rural Nebraska. This play was performed in venues throughout Omaha and presented at the 2017 Conference on the Commitment to Justice in Jesuit Higher Education.
  • Recipient of Magis Core Curriculum Faculty Development Grant for the development of an Intersections level course titled Theatre for Social Justice.
