Biography

Dr. Melissa Lang is the Director of Pre-Clinical Curriculum in the Department of Periodontics and graduated with Highest Distinction from the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery.  In 2007, she received a Certificate in Periodontics and a Master of Science in Oral Biology from the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry. 
Dr. Lang is the course director of Sophomore Periodontology and Junior Clinical Periodontics at Creighton University School of Dentistry.  She also teaches in the Implant clinics at Creighton University School of Dentistry.  Dr. Lang maintains a part-time private periodontal practice in Omaha, Nebraska. 
Dr. Lang is a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the Academy of Osseointegration, the American Dental Association, the Nebraska Dental Association, the Omaha District Dental Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Dental Society, and past-president of the Nebraska Society of Periodontology.
