    • Veterans Affairs national multi-site medication use evaluation: A medication utilization evaluation            (MUE) of associations between diagnostic criteria and antibiotic treatment of urinary tract infections (UTIs) in the outpatient setting. PBM VAMedSAFE and VA ASTF. Veterans Affairs           Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System, November 2019 - present.
    • Veterans Affairs national multi-site medication use evaluation: Evaluation of the
      appropriateness of initiation and de-escalation of anit-MRSA therapy with vancomycin in          hospitalized patients with suspected community-onset infections. PBM VAMedSAFE and VA ASTF. Veterans Affairs Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System, October 2018 - present.
    • A fluoroquinolone pilot audit and feedback program in an inpatient setting. VA’s Practice Based Research Network funded by the CDC. Veterans Affairs Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System, September 2018 - 2020.

Veterans Affairs Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System, October 2017 – January 2020. 100% participation as principal investigator for my site in this national multi-site project. 100% collected and submitted the data. 5% manuscript review prior to submission, publication in peer-reviewed journal.
  • Veterans Affairs national multi-site medication use evaluation: Evaluation of management of urinary tract infections for veterans in the inpatient setting. Veterans Affairs Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System, May 2015 – 2017. 100% participation as principal investigator for my site in this national multi-site project. 100% collected and submitted the data, 5% manuscript review prior to submission, publication in peer-reviewed journal
  • Incorporating interprofessional practice education and motivational interviewing techniques in antimicrobial stewardship programs at two academic medical centers. Creighton University School of Pharmacy and Health Professions, Creighton University School of Medicine, Veterans Affairs Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System, and CHI Health Creighton University Medical Center, May 2015 – 2016. 80% participation as principal investigator. Lead in project development, collected and analyzed data, submitted and presented results at a national poster presentation and subsequent invited publication in peer reviewed journal.
