Biography

Kayce received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Kansas and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Creighton University. Since receiving her DPT degree in 2010, she has gained pediatric experience in outpatient, home and school settings in Omaha and surrounding areas. Kayce is a level 2 Credentialed Clinical Instructor and she enjoys helping students and residents develop their understanding and improve their clinical skills. She is also able to work with students by assisting and teaching in lab courses as well as serving as a clinical education advisor in the graduate Physical Therapy program. She has worked with patients of all ages, but holds a strong interest in therapeutic intervention for infants and toddlers.

Kayce is dedicated to helping children improve their functional abilities and overall quality of life through achievement of gross motor skills, with a focus on walking and early developmental tasks. She is a board-certified specialist in pediatric physical therapy since 2022. She has completed additional training on infant handling, torticollis treatment, the application of Neuro-Developmental Treatment strategies, and the use of play in pediatric therapy. She has also completed the APTA Academy of Aquatic Physical Therapy Clinical Competency Certificate in 2020. This is the only certificate program for physical therapists who practice in aquatics. Kayce enjoys providing therapy in the aquatic environment to utilize the buoyancy to allow children to participate in activities that are too challenging for them to complete on land. She has an extensive background in dance and cheerleading, and is able to help children return to these activities or others through rehab for pain or sport-related injuries.
