Biography

Dr. Tarang received her graduate training in Immunology at the Banaras Hindu University, India in 2009. Following graduation, Dr. Tarang worked as a Project Manager in a Multinational company at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. In 2012, Dr. Tarang joined Creighton University School of Dentistry as a Postdoctoral Research Associate, at the department of Oral Biology. Dr. Tarang's current research interests include tissue regeneration and molecular biology of sensory systems. Dr. Tarang is one of the recipients of the prestigious research award from the Hearing Health Foundation, to develop a novel transgenic technology, to regenerate lost auditory hair cells. 

Dr. Tarang is also a trained Indian Classical Musician and holds a bachelor's degree in Music from Prayaag Sangeet Samiti.
