Food for fines to benefit Creighton Cupboard

Good news – you can help combat food insecurity on the Creighton Campus and pay your library fees at the same time, before you head home for the holidays!

The Health Sciences Library is accepting donations of non-perishable, unexpired food items at a rate of one item per $1.00 owed. All items collected will be donated to the Creighton Cupboard. You can clear up to $10 in combined overdue fees or lost item processing fees (where no item replacement fees are owed).

Fees for document delivery, damaged item fees, and interlibrary loan fees do not qualify.

Inter-library loan delays

As of Thursday, February 28, 2019, DOCLINE, the primary software used by medical libraries to make inter-library loan requests, is being upgraded by the National Library of Medicine.

This will result in a slowdown in the fulfillment of inter-library loan in general over the next few months as libraries across the country adapt to the new version of DOCLINE, as well as acquire and learn 3rd party software compatible with it.

We will do our best to submit and fulfill requests in a timely manner, but expect delays in delivery of documents, and try to plan accordingly.
