Rev. Daniel S. Hendrickson messages to campus header with Creighton seal

This Saturday, the Catholic Church celebrates the feast day of St. Ignatius of Loyola, the founder of the Jesuit religious order. For Jesuit institutions such as Creighton University, this day holds special importance and meaning. Please watch my video message.

I also invite you to join us this fall as we celebrate the legacy of St. Ignatius with the return of Mission Week. Watch for more information to come.

Finally, the Feast of St. Ignatius will be celebrated at the 5 p.m. Mass on Saturday at St. John’s Church, during which time Jesuit community members will renew their vows. Following Mass, all are invited to join the St. John’s community in food and fellowship at the annual parish picnic, with a complimentary meal on the Kiewit Fitness Center lawn.

May God continue to bless you and your families as we look forward to the beginning of the fall semester next month.

In Christ,
Rev. Daniel S. Hendrickson, SJ, PhD
