Presidential message

This Saturday marks the Juneteenth national observance – a time to remember when enslaved individuals received notification of their status as free men and women. As we remember this important day and reflect on the challenges we face as a nation and community in addressing issues related to race and systemic racism, let us also look forward with hope to the possibilities of a more just and equitable society, one that embraces all people as created in the image and likeness of God. Sincerely,

Rev. Daniel S. Hendrickson, SJ, PhD
