Creighton’s JayWalk Raises Money for Jesuit Middle School
The eighth annual Jaywalk to benefit the Jesuit Middle School of Omaha is Sept. 18 at Creighton University.
The 5 K run/walk is sponsored by the Creighton Students Union in cooperation with Creighton University and Creighton Preparatory Student Council with proceeds benefitting the Jesuit Middle School of Omaha. In the past seven years Jaywalk has raised more than $50,000 allowing the Jesuit Middle School to make many necessary changes throughout the school as well as provide scholarships for young males of North Omaha, to attend the school.
The run begins at 9:00 a.m. in Deglman Circle at 24th and California Streets and ends at Morrison Soccer Stadium. A pancake feed and check presentation will take place at the stadium following the run/walk.

The Jesuit Middle School of Omaha offers young males a quality educational opportunity, encouraging them to claim ownership of their lives and develop into responsible leaders. The training in this Catholic school includes three basics of traditional Jesuit education, preparing graduates academically, socially and spiritually for acceptance into a college preparatory curriculum.
