Challenges of “Pastoring a Multicultural Church” Topic of Lecture

“Pastoring a Multicultural Church,” is the topic the 2nd Annual Distinguished Church Leader Lecture with Archbishop Michael J. Sheehan, Archbishop of Santa Fe, N.M., at 7 p.m. on Oct. 26, in the ballroom of the Harper Center located at 602 N 20th St.

The lecture is free to the public.

In his lecture, Sheehan will explore how diversity impacts pastoral leadership. The Archdiocese of Santa Fe is one of the most culturally diverse in the country and includes Native American, Immigrant, Anglo and long-established Hispanic communities.

The lecture is sponsored by the Creighton Center for Catholic Thought and co-sponsored by the Office of Multicultural Affairs.
