Department of Fine and Performing Arts Presents The Children’s Hour

The Creighton University student theatre production of The Children’s Hour, will be held April 18-22 in the Studio Theater of Creighton’s Lied education Center for the Arts located at 24th and Cass streets.

Written in 1934 by Lillian Hellman, the play is a drama set in an all-girls boarding school run by two women, Karen Wright and Martha Dobie. An angry student, Mary Tilford, runs away from the school and to avoid being sent back she tells her grandmother that the two headmistresses are having an affair with each other.The accusation proceeds to destroy the women's careers, relationships and lives.

Performances are at 7:30 p.m. on April 18, 19, 20, 21 and 2:00 p.m. on April 22. Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and $5 for students, faculty, and staff.
