Creighton Sororities and Fraternities Support Lakin Center

Creighton University’s sororities and fraternities will clean up the campus, support volunteer activities and network with service recipients at the Charles E. Lakin Center in Council Bluffs, Iowa, on April 14 from 9 a.m. -12:30 p.m.

The Lakin Center’s campus is home to community organizations including Boys and Girls Clubs, the Salvation Army, The Micha House and the American Red Cross. Philanthropic work, volunteerism, health and community are important tenets of Greek organizations at the University.

“Creighton’s Greek organizations share the University’s Jesuit values of being men and women for others,” said Travis Buchanan, vice president of programming for Sigma Alpha Epsilon. “These service projects help us grow into compassionate leaders,” he added.

Creighton University is a Jesuit, Catholic university bridging health, law, business and the arts and sciences for a more just world.
