Creighton University Presents Spring Dance 2012

The Creighton University Department of Fine and Performing Arts will present Spring Dance 2012, featuring choreography by Creighton Dance Company faculty, special guests, and students. The performance features a compilation of ballet, modern, tap, and jazz pieces.

Performances are at 7:30 p.m. April 12, 13, 14 and at 2:00 p.m. on April 15. Tickets are $15 for general admission, $12 for seniors and $5 for students, faculty and staff.

The performance is directed by Patrick Roddy, the department dance coordinator, and features faculty choreographers: Roddy, Liz Reiter, and Patti Zukaitis, along with special guest choreographers Elizabeth Bergman and Maya Taylor. Creighton Dance Company student choreographers include: Hope Piernick, Andrew Plotner, Kim Sernett, and Joseph Wright.

The performance is funded in part by the generous support of the Richard and Mary McCormick Endowment for the fine and performing arts, the Grace Keenan Scholarship and an anonymous donor.
