Award-winning poet to read, sign copies of her work at Creighton

Teri GrimmAward-winning poet Teri Youmans Grimm will read from her work at Creighton University March 17 at 5 p.m. in Room 104 of the Skutt Student Center. She will sign copies of her work after the reading.

The event is free and open to the public.

Grimm’s poetry collection, “Dirt Eaters,” was chosen for the University of Central Florida’s contemporary poetry series and was published by the University Press of Florida. Her second collection, “Becoming Lyla Dore,” is forthcoming from Red Hen Press in the spring of 2016.

Her writing has appeared in Prairie Schooner, Green Mountains Review, Indiana Review, South Dakota Review and Connecticut Review, among other journals and anthologies, and she is a contributor for the podcast, Swamp Radio. She is the recipient of a Nebraska Arts Fellowship and has been awarded residencies at Virginia Center for the Creative Arts and the Hambidge Center.
