What do you think sets Creighton apart from other universities?
Creighton is the full package. I toured several schools all over the country, yet Creighton remained at the top of my list. The business program is second to none. Creighton is a small school with big opportunities, especially for business. From the high placement rate to the nationally ranked programs, Creighton talks the talk and walks the walk. I truly could not imagine spending my four crucial college years anywhere else.
From your experience, what do you feel are Creighton’s strengths in preparing students for their future?
Creighton is so much more than classes, books, and lecture halls. Creighton provides students with a top-notch, well-rounded education. At the same time, Creighton truly cares about each student as an individual. The Jesuit value system is alive and well all over campus. Creighton fosters growth in mind and spirit, providing students with a fulfilling college experience.
Specifically as a business student, I firmly believe that Creighton is preparing me for my future career now as a sophomore, better than most schools prepare their students as juniors or even seniors. I’ve gone on tours of multiple Fortune 500 companies, completed an internship with Union Pacific, networked at the annual business symposium with my own business cards, learned how to properly dine at an etiquette dinner, and took my resume from 3 pages to 1 with the help of Jeremy Fisher at the Career Center.
