What excited you most about choosing Creighton as your university?

I was most excited about the living-learning community of the Freshman Leadership Program (FLP) and the English department. I was also ready to move away from home and explore another state.

What opportunities have made your Creighton experience unique and valuable?

This year I was honored to receive the Klutznick Chair Holocaust and Genocide Undergraduate Research Award. I am excited that I will be getting paid for doing what I love and researching comic book theory at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, D.C. This would not have been possible without the support I had from the English and history departments, as well as the connections I have made at Creighton.

What do you think sets Creighton apart from other Universities?

The campus culture is incredibly inclusive. It is the perfect size to where you aren’t just a number, but you don’t have to know everyone either.

From your experience, what do you feel are Creighton’s strengths in preparing students for their future?

As a Creighton student, you are extremely well-rounded. The core forces you to engage with different fields of study, which is amazing. It makes you stop and consider different fields while simultaneously allowing you to pursue what you love.
