What excited you most about choosing Creighton as your university?

I am a military spouse, currently living overseas, but I was born and raised in Nebraska. I was so excited to be able to continue my graduate studies through a Nebraska university while not living in the state.

What opportunities have made your Creighton experience unique and valuable?

The opportunity to learn online with students from all over the world has been very rewarding. It enhances the Master of Public Health (MPH) program because we are able to relate the material in class to different populations with different cultural beliefs, traditions, economies, governments, health care systems and so forth, through our different experiences.

What do you think sets Creighton apart from other universities?

Creighton is an outstanding university, full of diverse professionals, professors and students, all working together to create a positive learning experience. When earning an degree online, it feels great to know that it's coming from a selective university. The cohort-oriented programs help connect students throughout the duration of the program.

From your experience, what do you feel are Creighton’s strengths in preparing students for their future?

Within the MPH program, Creighton provides students the opportunity to take what they've learned and apply it to real life experiences through the practicum requirement of the program. This is one of the program's greatest strengths.
