Tania Irwin, MEd, Assistant Director of Retention and Leadership

Tania is a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She received two B. A's in Psychology and Spanish from North Carolina Central University in 2016. She went on to receive her M.S. Ed in Higher Education from the University of Pennsylvania in 2017.

Tania began her career in higher education working with New Student Orientation and Student Activities at an HBCU (Historically Black College and University). She later transitioned into Diversity and Inclusion; working in Student Disability Services and later at the Penn Center for Minority-Serving Institutions.

At Creighton, Tania serves as the new Assistant Director for Retention and Leadership. It is her goal to be an active part of a collaborative effort to encourage, support, and sustain inclusion within the student population through innovative programming, cultural competence and strategic planning.
