Creighton University African-American Student Association (CUASA)

Mission Statement

We, the African American students of Creighton University, deploring discrimination and ignorance of our culture, wish to render aid to new students in adjusting to university life and educate the Creighton community about our culture.  In order to do so, CUASA will be a support group for not only African American students, but all students who wish to work towards improving interracial relations on campus and in our society in general.  In addition, CUASA will be a liaison between its members, the Creighton community and the surrounding Omaha area.  CUASA also pledges to be an active voice on campus, representing the university's African American population, and continually working towards improving the campus
