Attendance Tracking with CU Involved

CU Involved offers the ability to track attendance using card readers at your event. The Student Leadership & Involvement Center has card readers that can be checked out for an organization's event. Students swipe in with their student IDs, their attendance will be recorded, and a report will be available with all attendees.

To use the attendance tracking feature, the event must first be submitted and approved sing the Event Form on your organization's page. To request the card readers, fill out the "Attendance Tracking" form on the Student Leadership & Involvement Center page. They will be reserved on a first come, first serve basis.

To track attendance at your event:

(You must have administrative privileges to utilize this feature.)

1. Log in to CU Involved

2. Go to your organization's event page. Scroll down to "Manage Event" section and click on "Track Attendance".

3. Copy the access code that is on the event's page on the right side.

4. Click the "Swipe page" link which will take you to http://creighton.collegiatelink.net/swipe

5. Enter your event-specific access code in the new page and click "Submit"

6. Connect the card reader and begin swiping. The system will process the entry and display a "Success" or an "Error" message.

7. To view all of the cards that have been swiped/read, return to your CU Involved event page under the "Manage Event" section and click on "Track Attendance".

You may export a file that contains all attendees (click on "Export" button on the right side toward the middle of the page). If you choose to export, you will receive an email notification when your file is ready to be downloaded.
