Assessment Committee

Purpose:
The DSL Assessment Committee has the two primary purposes.  First, the committee is charged with the coordination and documentation of those efforts and initiatives that relate to student learning.  The committee will specifically focus on activities that reflect the rich variety of co-curricular, out-of-class learning opportunities found within Student Life.  This includes tracking learning assessment activities in concert with the greater University Assessment efforts.  Second, the committee is responsible for leading our divisional efforts demonstrating a commitment to the assessment of learning and our University-level learning outcomes. This includes disseminating information on workshops, training opportunities, and other educational initiatives at the University. The Assessment Committee will:

  • Identify the new departmental assessment projects
  • Continue to support departments in their assessment efforts
