TRIO Programs - Student Support Programs

BridgeX is a five-week long, online course that supports our program participants with “bridging” their high school experience to their Freshman year at Creighton University. The program requires about an hour a week of dedication, and gives incoming SSS freshmen an opportunity to:

  • Become familiar with BlueLine, Creighton’s online course platform;
  • Keep their academic skills sharp and prepare for college-level English and Math;
  • Get to know their SSS peers.

The course is required for all incoming SSS Freshmen and runs June 4th through July 6th.

2018 Summer Preview

Summer Preview is Creighton's summer orientation program that focuses on providing information and resources to new students and families during the summer months. This "preview" of what is to come in the fall semester will help set up both students and families for a successful transi- tion into the Creighton Community. We highly encourage SSS participants to attend one of the four sessions. During the Day 2 schedule, students have an opportunity to visit informational booths. Feel free to swing by ours and say “Hi!”.

Session 1: June 4-5
Session 2: June 7-8
Session 3: June 11-12
Session 4: June 14-15
