Thomas J . Beeson, DDS

Associate Professor

Dr. Thomas J. Beeson, is Associate Professor and Chairman of the Endodontic Department at Creighton University. He is an active member of the Omaha District Dental Society and the Nebraska Dental Association where he has presented lectures on various endodontic topics. He has been an active member of the AAE Scientific Review Board of the Journal of Endodontics since 2005. He served on the AAE Educational Affairs Committee from 2009-12 and served as Chair from 2011-12. Tom graduated from Millard High School in 1976 and is a 1983 graduate of UNMC College of Dentistry in Lincoln. He entered active duty in the United States Air Force (USAF) in 1984 as a general dentist and in 1996 graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a certificate in Endodontics. He has been board certified in Endodontics since 1999. Tom retired from the USAF in 2006 after having served as the Chairman of the USAF Endodontics Graduate Program and as the Chief Military Consultant to the USAF Surgeon General for Endodontics.
